Partner terms for sanghas
The rules for partner sanghas and associations on Namma Billava.
Version 2026-10-p1
1. Who these terms are for
These terms apply to Billava sanghas and associations that Namma Billava has approved as partners, and to the office bearers who use the sangha dashboard. An office bearer accepts them on behalf of the sangha when first signing in.
2. Partnership
Namma Billava provides free office tools so your sangha can manage members, events and its public page. In return, your sangha shares its matrimony referral link with members and families so they can join Namma Billava Matrimony. There are no referral points, bonuses or payouts to partner sanghas.
3. Your sangha page
Each partner sangha has a public page showing its name, location, year established and a short description. The registration number, member count and the contact person's phone number and email address are used only to verify the sangha. They are never shown publicly. Signed-in members who pick your sangha see only the contact person's name and role (president or secretary). Your public page also shows a Namma Billava Matrimony referral link next to any website or social links you add.
4. Referral link
- Your sangha has its own referral link. A person who opens it and creates a Namma Billava account within 30 days is counted as referred by your sangha.
- Only the first sangha a person comes through counts. This never changes later.
- People who already had an account before opening the link are not counted.
5. Self-tags
Members may name the sangha that introduced them. A self-tag is counted only after Namma Billava verifies it. Unverified or rejected self-tags never count.
6. Privacy
The sangha dashboard shows counts only. It never shows the names or details of the members your sangha referred. Please do not collect members' personal details on Namma Billava's behalf.
7. Matchmakers
Matchmakers may name your sangha. Confirm only people you know to be members. A confirmed matchmaker is shown as a member of your sangha on Namma Billava.
8. Dashboard logins
Logins are issued by Namma Billava to named office bearers and must not be shared outside the sangha's office. There is no self-service password reset; Namma Billava sets a temporary password that must be changed at the next sign-in. Repeated wrong passwords lock the login for 15 minutes.
9. Suspension
Namma Billava may suspend a partnership, for example for misuse of the referral link or misleading members. While suspended, the sangha page and listing are hidden and the dashboard cannot be used. Joins already recorded stay on record.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we will ask an office bearer to accept the new version. Questions? Contact us.
